NEVER MIX BAKING SODA AND LEMON JUICE
Ok. So i was on long hair care forum the other day and i saw this thread about some new discovery of moisturizing mojo, and it immediately struck my interest. When I entered the thread the girl said she had mixed some baking soda and citric acid into her conditioner and her hair then felt silky smooth, even after it dried. Later in the thread it went on to say that there were other mixtures that work just as well. One of the options was just adding 1 tsp. of table salt to 8 0z. of conditioner and i must admit IT WORKED WONDERS!!! It may sound bootleg, but hey it is what it is, and it works. My logic that if this simple mixture worked then some of the more complex options would work even better. So I decided to mix 1/2 tsp. of baking soda with 1 tsp lemon juce 4 oz Suave Humectant Condish and 1 oz water. IT WAS A DISASTER!!! My hair looked like the front had been relaxed straight and the rest was texturized. So i repeat NEVER MIX BAKING SODA AND LEMON JUICE into your conditioner!
